  1. Proficiencies & implicit service
    1. I am a graphic designer:
      1. I use the latest industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite 3: Photoshop; Illustrator; InDesign; Flash) to produce professional graphics in the appropriate format for the medium, compatibility and file-size.
      2. I have strong creativity tempered by a sense of purpose & context which allows me to produce visually arresting and compelling graphics which convey information with an eye to brand identity, attention- (encouraging sentiment and action) and information-design (informing the user).
      3. I have a keen appreciation of the user experience — including typography, usability, colour- & weight-theory considerations.
    2. & a front-end web developer:
      1. I hand-code XHTML, HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP to build fully-functional, future-proof websites.
      2. My coding is done with an absolute priority on compatibility (so that the site is useable from any device and/or browser), graceful degradeability & accessibility (so that a lack of modern Javascript or CSS on the user's platform will not prevent them getting the most of the site, and that the site can be fully-readable by disabled persons & automated algorithms such as the Google robot).
      3. All my code is sensitive to the fact that any site must be able to be well-understood and represented as best it can to automated services such as social bookmarking (facebook, digg, del.icio.us, etc.), and search engines (Google, Yahoo!, Windows Live Search, etc.). Any site I code will be fully-searchable with as much priority as possible given to relevant keywords, and submitted to all search engines automatically.
